Apple Launches iTunes Affiliate Program: good opportunity for bloggers

Apple has launched an affiliate program for the iTunes music store, which allows bloggers to link directly to songs, albums, and artists, and pays 5% commission for music downloads. For wanna-be endgaget and gizmodo like sites, there is also the opportunity to join the Apple Store affiliate program to sell hardware. Sign up prior to September 15 and win one of five free iPod minis.

I was turned down to be an affiliate (no big deal) but instead of giving me a reason they just listed a bunch of them. From “visually unappealing” to “produced or read by people outside the U.S.”, I’m not even sure if I should bother to e-mail them to narrow down the reasons. The feedback is really not that helpful IMHO.
