Ellen Simonetti, aka Queen of Sky, famous due to her dismissal from Delta Airlines after featuring a photo of herself in uniform on her blog, has launched an International Bloggers Bill of Rights at The Bloggers Rights Blog in an effort to protect other bloggers from the workplace retaliation that she suffered. She also collecting a list of “blogophobic” companies for bloggers to boycott. According to a post on her blog:
“People, blogs = free speech. They also equal therapy and escape for many of us, not to mention new friendships and cyber-community. There are more bloggers in the world than there are employers (or there will be soon). Bloggers are not only employees, but customers as well. We must stand up for ourselves. We WILL be heard. “
