David Berlind at ZDNet has an interesting article titled “Wall Street: Blogs insignificant” in which he reveals how a reporter from the Wall Street Journal contacted him to research whether there was a story that could be written in the finance section on blogs and blogging, social networking online, and the use of RSS.

After supplying the relevant information, the reported apparently returned from their editor to say that there was no significant story worth writing.

I never would have guessed, someone from the mainstream media belittling something they see as inferior.
