The emerging king of corporate disclosure and discussion, Weblogsinc owner Jason McCabe Calacanis, has taken openness to new levels with the ability for readers to comment on the advertising featuring on the network. Nick Denton describes the decision as “Bold to the point of foolhardy”.

The first ad open to comment is Griffin Technologies with comments able to be made here. Notibly, prior registration is not required to make comments, which also seems to be the case with most of the Weblogsinc Network now as well.

Whether the ad discussion pages will take off is yet to be seen, but kudos to Calacanis for giving it a go.
