After a recent rise in blog bashing, today we launch the first Blog Herald reader survey for 2005. Because I’m too lazy to install the WP Poll Plugin today its going to be a manual process. The question: what is more dangerous to American school kiddies?

1. Drugs
2. Guns
3. Teenage Pregnancy
4. Prostitution and/ or child abuse
5. Blogging

    None of the above.

Are not those all symptoms of a bigger problem?

Solving guns on campus by metal detectors… That’s like handing some a facial tissue to cure their cold.

Lack of caring, vision and focus on education by our society.

Education is golden key to life, but it looks like someone has switched the key out with a gold plated fake…

It’s not the government’s fault. It’s OUR fault. WE need to care about it. WE need to make our feelings known.

It’s time WE stood up and shouted that we will not accept a substandard education system. That our schools are to be shrines of learning, not daytime child prisons.

I feel somewhat strongly about this, can you tell? :)

The legal system take away the control teachers had. Now individual kids can distrupt a class and never be controlled.
