A new study from the Persus group released overnight has provided the first reasonable estimate of the number of blogs being hosted on Google’s Blogger service.

The study claims that Blogger blogs hosted on the blogspot domain now exceed 8 million which places the service ahead of LiveJournal with around 6.8 million blogs.

The study also concludes that there have been 31.6 million blogs created on the leading English speaking hosted blog providers, and that this figure will rise to 53.4 Million by the end of 2005.

i guess it’s really prime time that google improves its blogger service which is plagued by frequent downs, slow speeds….

else, i see MSN spaces and Yahoo 360 trapping blogger users.

BTW, if you need a 360 invite, drop a comment here
