Writing a blog and looking to get lucky with Paris Hilton like many thousand of others across the planet? Think again, because the overexposed Hilton Hotel heiress doesn’t like bloggers.
In an interview with AP about wanting to pursue a more simple life, the following exchange occurred.
AP: Do you read blogs?
Hilton: What’s that?
AP: Um, they’re these things on the Internet where people write about news and stuff.
Hilton: No, I don’t really read anything on the Internet except my AOL mail. I don’t like people who sit on computers all day long and write about people they don’t know anything about.

I think the reporter did not do a good job with explaining what a blog is? More than likely, the reporter had no clue or solid definition, like most. Not sure if a better definition of ‘blog’ would have changed Paris mind since Paris statement was she “don’t like people who sit on the computers all day long”.

Can someone PLEASE help me understand why so many thousands of people are obsessed with someone so vacuous, and — IMHO — so friggin’ ugly?
I understand the draw of some celebrities… the ones who are magnetic, articulate, naturally pretty or handsome… but folks like Paris…?! I totally don’t get it.

A computer is a thing where you press little squares and stuff and squiggle lines just appear on the TV just in front of it. If you can’t remember what it is called you can call your next dog it - OK

Paris Hilton is very brilliant and I want her to build my next rocket and do some surgery on a brain that is curdled from too much Harry Potter and Grand Theft Auto abuse.

This is not true!! She said this to a journalist after asking her how it feels to get in every paper or glossy!!! She loves Blogs, like mine for example.. she even signed my blog!!
