Bloglines is to release a new blog search engine this northern summer to take on blog search sites Technorati, PubSub and Feedster.

Bloglines CEO Mark Fletcher tells BusinessWeek that Bloglines will lead users to the relevant blogs, and then help them organize all the feeds pouring onto their desktop and has a go at the existing sites, say that the new project “is to create world-class blog search, which we don’t think exists now.”
