NZ bloggers under fire for breaking suppression order

A blog, or bloggers unknown are under fire in New Zealand for breaking a suppression order and releasing the name of Graham Capill, the high profile former leader of the Christian Heritage party who is currently facing sexual assault charges.

The New Zealand Herald did not name the blogs that have alleged to have released the information, but quoted David Farrar of Kiwiblog saying that bloggers should be wary of breaking such laws.

Whilst New Zealand suppression orders do not affecting non New Zealand bloggers directly, the question of place of publication was not dealt with in the story and can still potentially remain concerning to bloggers world wide; for example, if you broke a NZ suppression order and then travelled to New Zealand, would you then be held liable?
