Corporate blogs good way of interacting with customers: survey

Corporate blogs are a good way of interacting with your customers, according to a new survey released by Backbone Media.

The survey of 816 corporate bloggers from leading firms including IBM and Microsoft found that “Listening to customers and acting on their suggestions is one of the best ways to build a group of customers who are committed to expressing their goodwill to their community” and blogs are an excellent method of being able to listen to customers. The survey also found that blogs were good for search engine optimisation.

Hardly ground breaking conclusions, but professionly compiled and an interesting read to those wanting to know more about, or considering entering the corporate blogosphere.
