Reports are emerging that CBS is to announce a major overhaul of its news product with “broadband and blogging components” including the possibility of “an online version of 60 Minutes and viewer/user outreach efforts including the involvement of bloggers”. I’m guessing they won’t be bringing Dan Rather out of retirement to head the new format. More soon.
