IBM has announced that it plans to integrate blogging tools into its forthcoming release of its Workplace collaboration platform v2.5 and its Workplace Designer development tools.

A free preview of the blogging tool that will ship with Workplace 2.5 later this year has been released to the public and can be downloaded here.

The blog tools will allow users to create blogs with features such as archiving, permalinks, comments, search, and syndication.
