Google looks like its had a busy 24 hours with reports emerging that the search leader has undertaken a full range rank update.
The Blog Herald returns to PR 7, and the 4 other blogs on the Weblog Empire network launched in June have gone to PR 6. Anybody else with some good results? let us know in the comments.

Two of our main blogs (Xataka.com and Genbeta.com) are up to PR6, all others (except for one just launched) are at PR5. Not bad at all for Spanish language websites.

My main German blog is back to 6 – but it has been an on and off for some months now – I know that it is just at the edge of six, so I see this as a little game ;))
Two of my fresh sites jumped right at 5 – but I have seen this with all my new sites ;) So happy here – but that is more a playfull happy.
This is nothing earth moving, but a nice fun treat. But if I would go to 7, that would truly make me celebrate ;)))

My 6-week-old site came out of the “Sandbox” at a respectable PageRank of 4…Not bad for a total nobody ; )

We just started with PR 5 for our search engine blog (Motoricerca) and 4 for the other two (Speedblog and Nanopub). Nice start ;)

I went down from 7 to 6 on one of mine – others went from 5 to 6 but most maintained 6’s.

Mine used to be on page 1 or 2 in searches for ‘ilkley’ (not suprrising since that’s what the blog’s about. Since about three weeks ago, I’m not in the top 12 (I stopped counting after that)

My PageRank stayed the same but my pages fell out of the ranking for my main keyword. Does anybody know why that happened or is it even related to the page rank update?

I have been ranked number one in google, altavista, yahoo, ask jeeves etc for ages on combined terms like complain and moan, complain and gripe and page 2 on terms like whinge or moan. I now seem to have disappeared from the face of the earth on google, slipped to page 6 on AltaVista and am still ok with ask Jeeves/yahoo. I did some changes to titles and removed unnecessary keywords but would like my ranking back :( any ideas?

Basically I am more interested to know more things about SEO and Webmaster related stuff. But even before that, Next Google PR Update is a must know question. hahah :P
Its already 27th January, 2006 today and no sign on PR Updation from Google. Do you have any idea about when its going to happen? How long do we have to wait?
As you know, as a new website webmaster, I am more keen to know about whats going to be my websites pagerank?
I hope its normal ;)

PageRank can be important its where you getting links from. If they are coming from relevant (similar topic) web pages with a higher PageRank, that can help your rankings.
