Should you consciously advertise your blog or should you simply let your weblog proliferate organically? Some informed people argue that weblog promotion is a contradiction in terms and a henious adulteration of the whole weblogging ethos. I suspect there's a degree of validity to this outcry particularly when you consider the proliferation of shameless spammers which sculk in the Internet shadows. Whatever your personal perspective let's hope valuable content is marginalised by ill-motivated nonsense!

These are excellent tips. I have been running adwords for my blog for some time and I get loads of bookmarkers from that traffic. They come back months later and click and buy. I love it!

One of the more critical points that was omitted from this article was the importance of good, quality content. If you can keep your blog focused on a particular topic, it should eventually rank well in search engines and then that adsense revenue will flow in.
