Some informed people argue that weblog promotion is a contradiction in terms and a henious adulteration of the whole weblogging ethos. I suspect there's a degree of validity to this outcry particularly when you consider the proliferation of shameless spammers which sculk in the Internet shadows. Whatever your personal perspective let's hope valuable content is marginalised by ill-motivated nonsense!
