After months of rumors, it seems that Yahoo is to launch its long waited Google Adsense competitor Wednesday, and blogs are set to be the main target for the service.

The new service is said to differ from Google’s Adsense as it will deliver advertising to blogs based on “human editorial judgment”.

Update: NY Times has more details. Apparently only 2000 sites will be “invited” into the new program and everyone else will have to wait until later in the year
