Leading blog content theft tool Article Bot (articlebot.com) has been engulfed in a scandal amongst the “black hat” blogging and SEO community after accusations that the program contains spyware.

Ironically enough, the very people who steal content from blogs are angry that one of their tools may be seemingly stealing stuff from them.

The SEO Black Hat blog reports that a site setup to track the scandal has been mysteriously deleted, however they’ve provided a cached copy of it here. The activeboard thread here also has further details.
