More teen angst on blogs

They are a little less prevalent today as say 12 months ago, but here’s a nice story on teen bullying from the Baco Raton News. I’d summarise the story in this post, but I just don’t understand some of the words, anyone care to translate this paragraph for example:

“I’ve seen people talking bad things about people. I heard of one incident where this friend was going out with this chick and started talking smack and they’re not friends anymore. Also this one girl was going out with this guy and started rumors that he got her pregnant and it wasn’t true and people started calling him papa,� said teen blogger Zack Panhandle.

    Any particular words? Smack?
    Definitions – general gossip, talking behind someones back about one another, talking crap or BS about someone.
