Both Nick Denton’s Gawker Media and Jason Calacanis’ Weblogs Inc., have announced the launch of new blogs, both on the same day. From Gawker comes The Consumerist, which looks at consumer scams and ripoffs and is not affiliated to the Gothamist network, despite taking an “ist” name. From Weblogs Inc., comes WOW Insider, a blog dedicated to World of Warcraft, which I’ve actually taken up playing late at night recently after I’ve had enough blogging for the day….might even become one of my regular reads.
