For instance, I love robots. So, I created a lens about the subject, <a href="http://www.squidoo.com/allaboutrobots/" rel="nofollow">All About Robots</a>. That points people to other places to get information, has news feeds, Flickr photos, books on Amazon, etc. The interface is still a bit (very) buggy, but the idea intrigues me. The idea is that if you’re knowledgeable on a subject you can create a “Lens” that “focuses” the information on the subject.

They have no information on their frontpage to what exactly the idea behind it is and it appears that information is only within their FAQ.
