pMachine Releases ExpressionEngine 1.4 and Free Core Version

pMachine has announced the release of ExpressionEngine Version 1.4 as well as a new free version of ExpressionEngine called EE Core.

Version 1.4 delivers 70 new features and enhancements.

New features include an Extensions Manager, enabling developers to greatly extend the system, and new enterprise features, like entry versioning, relational data capabilities, and more custom fields types.

ExpressionEngine Core is pMachine’s new free version of EE is available for personal use.

    Long time lurker, but I wanted to chime in and say I was glad to see the new ExpressionEngine updates reported here. I almost posted about the free version of EE Core in your ‘Sharing the Blog Love’ post, but since I do tech support on the EE forums I figured it would be tacky.

    It’s a sweet update and the Core version really opens it things up for folks who want to check it out without having to make a cash commitment.
