Chinese search engine Baidu has announced that there are now 36.82 million Chinese blogs and 16 million Chinese bloggers.

Interestingly MSN Spaces is rated as China’s biggest provider of blogs, followed by Cnblogs, Tianya Blog, BlogCn, Mblogger, BlogBus, Ycul Blog, NetEase Blog, CSDN Blog, Hexun Blog and DonewsBlog.

So much for those people who keep claiming there are only 22 million blogs out there!!!. At a rough guess the number of blogs in existence is climbing towards 200 million. It will certainly make for an interesting Blog Herald Blog Count in January.
