The Blog Herald nominated twice at the 2006 Australian Blog Awards

Yae! The Blog Herald has been nominated for 2 awards at the 2006 Australian Blog Awards, Best Western Australian Blog and Best Main Stream Media blog (seriously on the last one :-) )

Darren over at Problogger also received 2 nominations, Best Victorian Blog and best Tech Blog, but oddly enough didn’t make the shortlist for best Australian blog given he’s the ONLY Australian with a blog now in the Technorati Top 100 (85 last time I looked).

For some strange reason though Australia’s great blog, The Spin Starts Here, turned down their nominations! (Caz, I nominated you like 100 times, what are you thinking? :-) )

    I have my reasons, Duncan. Not the least of them being that I’m the self-appointed campaign manager for Samuel Gordon-Stewart’s tilt at taking out the top gongs. Again, I have my reasons. ;)

    Good to see that hard work and good blogging style do pay sometimes.
