Shiny Media launches Rugby Union blog

UKblog network Shiny Media (www.shinymedia.com) has announced the launch of its latest blog: Scrumbag, dedicated to Rugby Union.

Launched days before the start of the annual Six Nations competition, Scrumbag promises to go where traditional rugby sites don’t dare venture offering forthright and controversial opinions on the game’s key issues.

‘We are really excited about both Rugby and Scrumbag’ says Shiny’s Creative Director Ashley Norris. ‘The southern hemisphere teams might have had it all their own way recently, but there’s a real buzz around a couple of the European sides and by the time the World Cup starts next year anything could happen.’

Of course Ashley couldn’t have possibly been following the Wallabies to have made this statement :-)

They obviously haven’t realised that rugby league is the real thing. What do you expect from a bunch of southerners!

As I remember it was Wales that won the last Six, plus the Grand Slam. Maybe Ashley’s a bit like Chantelle and thinks Wales is in the southern hemisphere? How about a Big Brother blog, Ashley? :-)
