OK, I was a little bit surprised to read this because the telegram service in Australia ceased in the late 80′s or early 90′s (I cant remember exactly, but I do remotely remember it), but according to LiveScience.com, Western Union ceased it’s telegram service effective 27 Jan 06. The end of a service that has serviced the world for a very, very long time. And a dot and a dash to every one.
