Our sixth bastard is Adam Curry, otherwise known as the self-appointed Podfather.

Adam Curry, known lovingly as the “podfather” to about five people in the blogosphere and the guy that screwed Dave Winer by any blogger with a sense of fair play, is the driving profiteer and snake oil salesman behind the force called podcasting.

Claim to fame

Adam Curry is old school: prior to claiming credit for everything related to podcasting, he was a radio and television personality in Europe (can we say big in Europe like David Hasselhoff?) and a VJ for MTV. Ex-drug addicts may remember him as host of Headbangers Ball
