These methods resolve over 65% of my plagiarism cases. I posted about it in the comments of her piece. There are other guides including the one on my site and this one on Dan Richard's site which offer information on those steps: http://www.danrichard.com/2006/03/21/dmca-action-a-general-guide-to-taking-action-against-site-rippers-using-dmca-law/ Personally, I'd read all of the guides I could, just to get the most complete picture possible.
