Blogger makes final table at WSOP Event #13

Filed as General on July 9, 2006 5:38 pm

Terrence Chan, formerly an employee of PokerStars, one of the largest online poker sites, is playing at the final table of the World Series of Poker Event #13: The $2,500 No-Limit Hold’em Championship.

Chan is an avid blogger at his LiveJournal Blog where he outlines his life as a professional poker player. He has some great posts about busting folks out for $100,000 at a time online. I’m not sure about the rest of you, but I don’t have $100,000 to lose at poker.

You can follow the events at the WSOP and Team PokerStars live through blogs such as CardPlayers’s Live Updates, the PokerStars Blog, and other sites.

You can also follow the event that Chan is currently playing in at CardPlayer. Cheer for Terrence!

Update: 5:43pm CST. And wouldn’t you know it, not long after I post this, Terrence is eliminated in 8th place, beating out 1282 other players.. he leaves with $74,175.
