Lebanese Bloggers cover the Middle Eastern situation live

Filed as News on July 14, 2006 12:28 am

I’ve been closely following the situation in the Middle East over the past few days - and have learned far more on-the-ground truth from bloggers than I have from any of the mainstream media out there.

Some of most up to date information is coming from The Lebanese Bloggers site over at Blogspot. An example:

Footage of il-Mdairij bridge on the Damascus-Beirut highway is being shown on LBC. The bridge is hit severely. No cars can pass through. This is close to our summer house.

Letters Apart has some emotional & jarring photographs from inside Lebanon.

I expect we’ll see more of this in the days to come…
