Payperpost gets $3 million to further fool blog readers

Filed as Uncategorized on October 2, 2006 3:18 am

TechCrunch reports that always controversial Payperpost has raised $3 million in financing. In case you’ve missed it (insert living under rock-thingy here) Payperpost pays blogger to write positive moderated posts about their “advertisers products. Yeah, there was a bit of a fuzz about that.

The official announcement for the raised money is due Tuesday, but I’m more interested in what Payperpost will do with the cash. Needless to say, they aren’t going anywhere in the foreseeable future.

Just one correction: there is no requirement for positive posts, at least, not on the ones I choose to write about. I intentionally pass by any opportunity that requires me to write in a certain tone.

I considered doing one on a site that wanted reviews, positive or negative, but after the third failed Rails initialization when loading the page, I decided to pass. How is that foolng anyone?
