[...] In todays world of ‘user networks’ and ‘network reviews’ we expect the people wiriting information in blogs for us are just reagular people giving us much wanted information. Man were we wrong. Payperpost just got $3 million dollars to pay people to write positive blog reviews for items advertisied on their page. Sketchy at best. I suppose some of us in the advertising industry might have to look into these avenues of the profession.
Just one correction: there is no requirement for positive posts, at least, not on the ones I choose to write about. I intentionally pass by any opportunity that requires me to write in a certain tone.

I considered doing one on a site that wanted reviews, positive or negative, but after the third failed Rails initialization when loading the page, I decided to pass. How is that foolng anyone?

[...] Some, including me, are interested in what Payperpost will do with the cash. Others are asking “How many credible bloggers would sign up for this?” I’m also wondering how this company is going to “fly”. Continued loss of credibility by the company and the bloggers who work for them will mean the the investors might not ever see a return. Trying to make a business model like this work by starting $3 million in debt will be disastrous. [...]
