Performancing launches ad creation tool - who will use it?

Apparently there are people using Performancing that need tools to make an ad to run in the Partners-network (125×125 pixel buttons), that’s according to Chris Garrett’s post. So Performancing launches Easy Ads, an online tool that makes image ads with a hover effect and all.

Sounds good? Well, it isn’t. Don’t get me wrong, it works and all, but making an ad consisting of border, background and text color, one font, one positioning and, err, that’s it. It looks like shit.

I played around a bit, of course, and made this ad for Bloggertalks:

Performancing Easy Ads

Impressed? Neither am I. Easy Ads might be better in the future, but at the moment you’re better off downloading The Gimp, Paint.NET or any other free image software. I can assure you that it’s just as simple to make a lousy ad there, as it is in this lame excuse of a tool.

lol. You’re right on target. The ads are pretty lame. If someone would come up with a halfway decent ad creation tool that includes text and maybe some graphics, it would be a massive hit!
