It's too easy to game, the topics are fairly narrow, you have to follow the trend (ie: love F/Fox and hate Microsoft as an example) and the commenting is 90% negative and just plain snobbish. And there's nothing wrong with a bit of editorial input - I know all this social media stuff is all about freedom et al but there has to be a fine balance there. And it seems BuzzFeed is on the right path - read their "about" page. About time, imho.
