[...] Google Adsense Smart Pricing - Help Please I read a story on the Blog Herald that mentioned in passing Google Adsense ‘Smart Pricing’ which I’d never heard of before and has got me really confused. According to Jensense, Adsense Smart Pricing is when Google: Automatically adjusts the cost of a keyword-targeted content click. So if our data shows that a click from a content page is less likely to turn into actionable business results - such as online sales, registrations, phone calls, or newsletter signups - we reduce the price you pay for that click.
Can you explain a bit more about smart pricing? Does this mean that if your site has a low CTR because the content on a page is poor, Google will serve cheaper ads on the rest of the site?

"Remove Adsense from Poorly Performing Pages"

Good tip. It's something I've wanted to do but I haven't come up with a pain-free way to specify individual articles not to display ads.

I could probably do it using a Wordpress custom variable, to specify which articles not to display Google ads on.

Good tips here, a couple I hadn't considered before.
