		<description>Rose: I think the main ones are the ones in the article, Weblogs, Blogrolling and Blo.gs are probably the worst. I&#039;d avoid automatically pinging pingomatic too since it shoots out the pings to all of those services as well (at least I think it&#039;s all three).

As long as you avoid those three and relying on any automated pinging service, you should be ok!</description>

		<description>We all are constantly struggling to get more traffic to our sites and will simply just start pinging to try to achieve this.  I appreciate your approach here in assessing what services are better to ping to or not.  It is not a given that you ping everyone - I never really thought of that before.
