What is truly the mightiest power, is the power of the people, and the efforts of decent, honest people to communicate with the world, whether via person to person interaction, blogging, writing in any form, communication in any form. Yes blogging is a powerful resource, but it is the people creating and reading the blogs who have the real power to change things for the good. Even if their direct access to the blogs is roadblocked. While I agree that the power of the pen, and in its current paradigm the blog, is mighty, I also know that a determined totalitarian regime can silence the bloggers who are eye witnesses to events, as shown in this post.
