This post is just simple such a big oxymoron! You're either in pro of something or not. You can see pros and cons but you can't list the same thing as both.

Cool, many years ago photography was really expensive so not many people had a camera. People would make pictures and they will publish them even for free (your words, not mine) and they would be really happy to say their picture was on XYZ magazine. Of course it didn't affect professionals very much because it was EXPENSIVE! Now that digital cameras as super common and supper cheap and EVERYONE can take a picture then you just have A LOT more competition! What's the difference between you boss telling you they don't want to pay you $100 for a good picture when he can pay $25 for a bad one (which might be actually good anyway) or telling you he doesn't want to pay you $100 because someone who likes photography is really exited about publishing a picture for free? Is it really different? Probably someone publishing a picture for $25 is just happy that the picture got published and that's it. Maybe he bough a beer to celebrate with that money and he only sold that picture in all his live. Still, your problem is the market and technology change, not the people who sell or not their hobbies.

And just so it's clear, I don't get money from any of my hobbies and if I would then I would think that I'm becoming better and I would see it as a compliment. I love photography too. Would I publish a picture for $25 SURE! Why? Because I would published for free also!!! And $25 given all the pictures I have taken and the time and effort it would be doing it for free as well.

It's just shameless to see private bloggers display adsense ad's on the same page where they describe yesterdays trip to the harbor with granny..

Make a standpoint
