		<description>I agree with  your sentiment about too open government, and would rather have them spending the time on spending the money properly instead.

However, I am glad to see that the potential next president of the USA will have more than a fleeting knowledge of what the internet and can do.

I recently read an article in TIME Magazine about the current president of the USSR (or whatever its called now), Vladimir Putin, who has never sent an e-mail in his life. 

In my opinion it does not make him any less of a great leader, but it is nice to see that the new world leaders that are emerging embrace the fact that technology opens up for new use in every level of life.</description>
