This single issue is going to cause a lot of problems with many WordPress Themes and bloggers when suddenly all their forced feed excerpts will open up to full feeds. I learned to like the selectiveness of the feed option, allowing short posts to be full and longer ones to be shortened – so now I’ll have to turn off full feeds again on my blog because the scrapers adore my blog and this is a causal method of restricting them to my terms on Fair Use.

Too bad they can’t give options for this, allowing us to use it the new way and not revert, or revert.

Awesome post yet again. Amazing how much stuff happens in the world of WordPress within 7 days time and I bet this isn’t even half of the stuff thats been covered.

What really perked my interest was this line of text:

a much requested reversion to full content feeds so the “more” tag will no longer cut off content

This is awesome news as I’ve been reluctant to use excerpts of the MORE tag as I would hear complains from my RSS subscribers about having to visit the site to see the whole post.

Thank you for the link love in regards to the podcast, now I have to take my game to the next level :)
