For me, there’s nothing quite like seeing a blog post peppered with big-sounding non-words like “whilest” or “learnt” to instantly denote that the writer is a rank amateur – or is blogging purely for the sake of click-based revenue. Your written word is, for most bloggers, just about all your audience can judge you by.

I may be in the minority here, but I feel that you can get away with less-than-stellar site design, but content that’s riddled with typos or poor grammar is really inexcusable.
