Firefox 3 Broke the World Record

I bet they are happy at Mozilla, since the world record attempt in largest number of software downloads in 24 hours was successful. Firefox 3 was downloaded 8,002,530 times. If you participated, you can get your own certificate. I’ve got one.

He used to be a hotshot in the gaming industry in Sweden, but sold everything and went International. Most recently he wrote a book called Smashing WordPress: Beyond the Blog, and does loads of kickass design.
Congratulations to Mozilla! They deserve it. I was one of the 8 million+ who downloaded the new browser. I’m totally impressed about it. It’s fast, it’s cool and it’s revolutionary.
