Google said they were working on a version for Safari well over a year ago. Here we are today, and still no word.

@ Jack: Google Gears only caches a few things with WordPress, mostly associated with content production. It caches to your desktop not server. Super Cache and Batcache work on caching your site on the server. Fruit, but apples and oranges.

Great new plugin and great article. I am interested in adding a cache plugin and wondering if they can work together or are they over redundant ??

The link for “Turbo” is next to the login area to the upper right of the WordPress Administration Panels, the proper name for the UI, interface, dashboard, admin area, and whatever other terms people come up with for it. The Dashboard is indeed one of the panels in the Administration Panels. :D

Firefox 3 supports Gears, Safari will soon. And the correct term for the admin area is the admin area. The Dashboard is the front page of the admin area, so calling the admin the Dashboard is the wrong terminology. Also, you’re looking for a link in the admin menu, something you should see if you login.

I guess neither FF3 or Safari support Gears? Am I looking for a button or a link?
And what do you consider Admin area? Dashboard? If so, then please refer to it as Dashboard. K? thank you.
