In my opinion that a property foreclosure can have a important effect on the client's life. House foreclosures can have a 6 to a decade negative effect on a applicant's credit report. The borrower who's applied for a mortgage or almost any loans as an example, knows that a worse credit rating is, the more challenging it is to get a decent loan. In addition, it can affect any borrower's ability to find a quality place to lease or rent, if that becomes the alternative property solution. Thanks for your blog post.

Smart rule. I'm the same way. As I told the audience in San Francisco last year, leave the panic to those who can handle it. Sometimes the best posts come from those who have sat back and observed, listened and learned, and then blogged. They add richness to the topic giving us more value than those who rush for first place.

But then again, we still need those first place winners. They keep the news flowing. :D

@Lorelle VanFossen

:)

I also set rule not to hunt for breaking news. That may work for full-time bloggers but for beginner it only adds nervousness and wastes time that could be spent writing.

Hi Lorelle, the biggest problem for me is time to write posts. I'm not really concerned much about the word count per se, but primarily focus my time and attention to writing a quality post.

Since I work full-time during the week, writing on weekends is nearly the only time I have to write posts. That in itself creates some pressure for me since I also need to care for my responsibilities as a wife and mom while at home. I'm one of those bloggers who would like nothing more than to whip out a post every single day, but that has not been possible for me with my schedule.

I've come to the point where I write posts as time allows, knowing that I can only do what I can do, and if that means I don't publish a post for a few/several days, then so be it. Blogging under pressure has its good points, but it's also important to keep our priorities straight and family cared for.

I probably feel pressure of word count most. :) Not that I have some limits set but I know I tend to use excessive amount of text when I write and repeat words numerous times across post... So I have to sit and edit really hard to make text better to read.
---
Pressure of word count for me. Excessive spoils text and I cut a lot to make post easier to read.
