I would like to say that your suggestions are really great. I hope these 7 Blogging Tips will encourage people to create higher quality blogs. I think everyone will agree that 1 excellent blog is better than 20 crappy ones, because the most important thing is quality, not quantity. Thanks to the author for sharing these useful ideas and good luck to bloggers in realizing them.

Excellent tips! I am a huge proponent of strong openings paired with even stronger headlines. So, I unfortunately tend to not spend as much time on my ending.

I know it makes no sense that I discount the importance of a strong conclusion. I understand that it’s the last thing your readers see, and therefore must be memorable and invoke emotion. I just need a little reminder now and then that it is necessary to spend more time on the concluding pieces.

So really, you’re serving as the little reminder-string around my finger!

I never knew the call to action is that important. I only started doing that yesterday in my new blog. I hope it works.

Found this article from @webSuccessdiva's tweet.

Love how you've tied Ogilvy's advice for effective copywriting to blogs. I definitely need to start adding captions to photos. Bookmarked this post and am sending it to all of my clients that have a blog.

Diva: Glad you liked the tips. However, I have to give my thanks to my advertising professors for making me read Ogilvy's books, as strange as it sounds, I think they changed my life in no small way.

Rarst: The caption thing is tough and WP doesn't help that much in that area. It is getting better with media though so I'm hopping that real caption support isn't far off.

GoScript: Excellent point. I wrote this from a reader perspective but you are right that captions also help with SEO too. Very good point.

Photos are a great way to get a lot of traffic from SE. I just did an experiment with one of my sites, after adding proper captions and image descriptions the traffic almost tripled.
