I’ve never understood the hype over WordPress aside from the fact that is free.

Typepad and Squarespace offer very cheap pricing plans and their platforms are millions of times better.

Why are so many people downloading or using WP?

I got the screenshot when it rolled over the million mark at 11:51am EST today (mine is at 1,000,018). Wonder if anyone got a screenshot closer to one million?
