Nice article!

I think the Twitter client landscape has really changed in 2010. New approaches and design strategies have yielded some remarkable new Twitter clients. One in particular is TvvitterBug. It eloquently combines simplicity with great functionality and entertaining animations to give you the most out of your Twitter experience.

TvvitterBug 1.3 is currently in the approval process for release on the App Store this week. This release brings together the culmination of all the features, capabilities, and functionality most sought after in an iPhone/iPod Twitter App, including:

1. All of the power you want, without the complexity you don’t.
2. Five (TvvitterBug exclusive) user-customizable Tweet Views.
3. Up to Five user accounts easily accessible from any view through a simple drag-down menu.
4. Persistent Tweets between launchings so you can view your tweets anytime.
5. Double-Tap Instant Update to easily and quickly refresh your tweet views on demand.
6. Built-in Photo capabilities to add photos directly to your tweets.
7. Built-in Translation support using any of the state-of-the-art web translation engines you choose, such as Google Translate, Yahoo Babelfish, or Promt Translator.
8. Built-in Web Access to view tweet embedded pictures and other URLs.
9. Editable User Profile, including setting a new Avatar picture.
10. Support for both “Fixed” and “Editable” Retweets – your choice.
11. Landscape support for both Views and Keyboard.
12. Automatic Language detection and display – great when you’re surfing!
13. Automatic last-state restore on subsequent launchings.
14. It also supports Lists, Spam reporting, deleting tweets, follow/unfollow, favorite/unfavorite, search of Message, From, and/or To in any timeline, Search and Trends timelines.
15. The same ease-of-use and lightning fast operation as the original version.

I think your readers would be interested in learning more about TvvitterBug from one of your reviews.

Cool app but once again, another app I could live without, especially since you have to pay to use it. Twitter already has too many apps for their website I feel like they would be better off if they made their website an exclusive app and made companies that make apps for their website pay them royalties or something.

Danny Salomon, Vice President at United Holdings Group, has developed the world's first Anti-Aging App™ for iPhone. The mobile App, The Anti-Aging iPhone App helps heal various ailments from Wrinkles, Acne, Cellulite, and even can stimulate Hair Growth through color light and sound therapy. The healing strategy makes use of the wavelengths of light and sound in order to stimulate the body's natural defense systems. Anti-AgingApp.com When those cells get energized, they produce collagen and elastin. The result will be firmer and rejuvenated skin tone, and improved circulation.

Don't like the new features. RTs are cut off if they're too long. Quote Tweet is weird. Don't like the arrows and original posters showing up as RTs. Bring back the old one. Boo.

I still have not updated to Tweetie 2. I don't see why I should, I love the simplicity of Twitter and Tweetie (1).

Personally I am totally not interested in telling everyone where I am and that there's no one at home, no one to guard all the tools, gizmos and IT equipment, or follow several lists while on the road, away from the computer enjoying a real social life (not that I ever would do the latter).

Tweetie is a great short and simple Iphone app - very clean and fast. Or it was. The deal breaker for me is the implementation of the BETA Twitter RT method. Which entirely screws up the way I do (did) RT's. At this point, I'll be removing the app.

@ Spamboy, @Darnell - You've actually convinced me to download Tweetie 2.1 guys. Will see how it fares up with long time iPhone Twitter client - TweetDeck.

The difference between premium and free Twitter apps is night and day (TweetDeck is the exception here).

However Tweetie has the best UI out of Twitter apps out there, although it lacks Push Notification (which is sad).

IMHO Echofon is the best thus far (due to it's smart Push Notification), although Twittelator Pro is cool too.

@Arnold While other clients may have the same features for a lesser price, what you get with Tweetie is a robust, fast, and stable application, which isn't always the case with others (especially TweetDeck). Its speed is well worth the price if you are a power Tweeter like myself (http://twitter.com/spamboy). Isn't this also the first client to implement lists?
