Mark Zuckerberg - Facebook CEOThere has been a lot of back and forth emails between Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg and the media lately, almost always in regards to privacy standards, now an official video statement is available in which Zuckerberg speaks about the site’s privacy settings.

In the video Zuckerberg and Facebook Director of Platform Bret Taylor talk about user confusion over the sites built-up granular settings.

During the video both men make references to new settings being added on top of other settings, which eventually led to various additional controls that confused many visitors.

While granular controls will stay on the site, since some users do like the control they provide, new simplistic features are also available for users who want to more easily control their privacy settings.
