Email marketing is still a powerful marketing and blog promotion tool despite the changes in the ways we communicate online. Although we’re seeing where social media is rapidly evolving the medium and effectiveness of conversations, email still has a place in reaching responsive audiences and building relationships. The trick to email marketing, and practically every other form of marketing online, is that we have to start respecting the medium, the process and the people we see as our users, readers and potential clients.
To market your blog successfully you’ll have to get out of the mindset of treating subscribers and readers of your blogs as mere users or statistics and start thinking of every single reader as a valued client with whom you value and are building a relationship. Email marketing is relationship building, not mass marketing like television ads. This attitude flows into all aspects of your blogging business and will reap greater rewards as you invest more in building relationships. It’s just that simple. I sincerely enjoy blogging about making money online and profitable business ideas. I get a rush discussing the endless possibilities and encouraging others to do their best and go for it. We oftentimes become consumed with business and the desire to get rich and make it big blogging or whatever else we decide to do. Spending countless hours searching for products and systems that work, we forget what it is that we’re called to do. Each of us has unique DNA which help determine the paths we take in life, whether it’s in relationships, career or business. The things we focus most of our energy on.

Fear is a destructive force and those who succumb to it are defeated before the task or battle has begun. Now the most damaging effect of fear is that we either never embark on our mission, or procrastinate towards stagnation. So it is also with blogging, online marketing and every other business venture or task we take on. Let’s face it, search engine optimization as we know it is an ever-evolving, not dying, art. Gone are the days of simply throwing up a couple targeted keywords, dumping a ton load of miscellaneous backlinks and walking straight to the bank. Google is winning the battle against search engine manipulation slowly but surely. Though the vast majority of us are so mad at Google for it’s actions against web spam through algorithmic changes and direct penalization against particular website, we need to remember: a) Google is a private company and not a public service – they can do whatever they want with their toys and b) they’re in this for the long-run to make profits and please shareholders. How dare we demand anything from Google! I may sound like I have a stake in the company, defending them, but I don’t. I’m just facing the facts.
Instead of whining about the all-powerful Google we should be focused on our business of blogging and online marketing, and how we can grow and evolve with the times. SEO is rough and now is the time to innovate and be deliberate with everything we do with our blogs. read more

The same is true for brands and if people have a high opinion of your services or product, then they’ll find it more desirable and be more inclined to purchase it.
