While there are no shortage of bloggers all over the world, there is only a small percent who succeed in doing so. Even if you do observe the best blogging practices and have generated a substantial amount of blog traffic, it does not follow that you will achieve success by earning a living as a professional blogger.
The real measure of success as a blogger is what you do with the traffic you have generated. Visitors per se won’t rake in cash for you, which is why you need to devise a way that will allow you to monetize your visitors. One way of doing this is by setting up contextual ads on your blog.

You’ve always wanted to live the internet lifestyle and build a steady stream of online income. Every successful blogger you’ve read recommends creating your own products and focusing on building an online business instead of just being a freelancer.
But unfortunately, the law makers in the European Union have just made digital product selling much more difficult. If you are selling digital products from your website and have customers from the EU then you need to be aware of the tax rule changes in the EU and how they will impact you. read more

Starting a blog is an easy thing to do, but mastering the activity is a whole different story. For WordPress alone, tens of thousands of new blogs are created every day. But how many of these blogs will actually succeed?
Naturally, success is relative, but let’s take a look at one aspect: revenue.
While blogging shouldn’t be all about making money, for those who rely largely on blogging for a living, blog revenue is critical. Beyond, that, however, the lifestyle and habits of bloggers can highly influence their success. You might consider yourself a successful blogger, but if you are not mindful, you might find yourself in financial trouble at some point. You might even find yourself seeking the services of a bankruptcy attorney if you throw (financial) caution to the wind.
So why don’t we take a look at some financial habits of successful bloggers and make sure you stay on the right track? read more

Be careful who you follow and what advice you take to heart and execute. There’s a lot of fluff being touted around the web as good solid advice that often leave naive and unsuspecting bloggers with a handful of disappointments in the long-term. Due to the fact that there’s good and bad in everything, more bad than good, and it can be quite difficult sifting through what is valid and proven and the hyped up duds. However, I say, follow the tried and tested road, pay attention to the habits of the successful ones and emulate humility.
You’ll often discover that the more hype that surrounds something the faster it falls. And with the many internet marketing tactics and hypes in existence it’s really difficult to tell who and what are genuine. The hypes simply do not last. That’s my reason for shining the spotlight on a few bloggers who have fought their way from the bottom to the top and achieved and continue to maintain great success online. Study their stories and their journeys and you will find the gems and inspiration you need to seriously crush it as a blogger. read more

I sincerely enjoy blogging about making money online and profitable business ideas. I get a rush discussing the endless possibilities and encouraging others to do their best and go for it. We oftentimes become consumed with business and the desire to get rich and make it big blogging or whatever else we decide to do. Spending countless hours searching for products and systems that work, we forget what it is that we’re called to do. Each of us has unique DNA which help determine the paths we take in life, whether it’s in relationships, career or business. The things we focus most of our energy on.
Unfortunately, our obsession with making money quite easily steers us from who we really are, as we lose sight of what we truly want of life and what connects with us on a spiritual and truly fulfilling level. read more

With the onset of banner ad blindness, tougher competition and more stringent Google algorithmic stipulations, bloggers find it much more difficult to make a buck online. As with any other industry, the only thing that remains constant is change and as bloggers we will have to continuously brainstorm how we’ll make the most out of our greatest asset, our content.
As the challenges pile on, those who are serious are forced to raise the bar higher and do and think differently. At the end of the day, in any venture, the questions remain, “How can I make some money?” Or “How can I make the most out of my life and business?” The answer, especially for bloggers, is that we need to keep flowing with the rising standards and bring new experiences to our readers, clients and prospects. read more

The dream and objective of 99% of all bloggers is to make money. Whether the journey began out of a passion or burning desire for your voice to be heard and start a revolution; at some point monetization ideas will come to mind and opportunities will present themselves for you to capitalize. Opportunities have come in the form of large ad deals, sponsorships, broadcasting contracts and book deals. Among all the success stories we’ve heard, in general, the art of making money from blogging seems to be an elusive victory for the majority as with many other global industries.
I’ve written many times about having a correct and decisive mindset when tackling any task and in 2014 we bloggers need to start thinking of new ways of reaching and bringing value to more people while remaining competitive. Now is the time for thinking outside the box and start pushing the boundaries on what you can do to make the best out of your presence online. read more
