Over at TechCrunch, Henry Work and Mark McGranaghan have come up with some detailed analysis based on data from TechMeme. They’ve posted a teaser over at TechCrunch.

    Seriously, though, I’d be interested to know the methodology. I think basing this on Techmeme is very short-sighted. What about the tech blogs that cater to the general public, most of whom don’t even know about Techmeme?

    Yes, it’s great to get your article and name up on Techmeme, of course, but it shouldn’t be the only goal, or measure.

    Honestly though, it’s not a bad approach to take – but it doesn’t take into account credibility or accuracy or other metrics that are much harder to measure.
