Hugh Laurie doesn’t “get” Twitter

Actor Hugh Laurie has admitted that he’s “bothered by the social cost of every tweet” on Twitter, and that although he has his own Twitter page he doesn’t really get the concept.
Going 22 characters over-limit, Laurie told a BBC radio programme, “If people were able to take these 140 characters and develop a poetic Western form… that would be a satisfying thing. But that’s not what I see when I read them”.
Maybe Hugh needs a Twitter VIP Concierge. Possibly, though, it’s OK not to tweet. Not every celebrity needs to use it, after all.

I’d love to see him and his bfflz, Stephen Fry, the mighty Twitter god, discuss microblogging. Fry is brilliant with and really seems to revel in the that sort of thing. Oh, Hugh, I adore you.
He sounds like Dr. House! Was Mr. Laurie “degluted” by his character!
Jeeves was always the clever one!
Celebs need to get on twitter. It’s a great way to connect with fans and show a “real side” Plus…we can get some advice from a doctor like House :]
His old mate Stephen Fry would be able to set him straight.
